About Brain Grain Technologies
A software studio in Chennai that builds for clients and sells its own products.
Brain Grain started as braingrain.in, a free bilingual exam-preparation platform for Tamil Nadu that 4,283 learners have used. Running it meant building every hard part of a software product ourselves: sign-in, payments, a database, analytics, a content pipeline that generates and validates thousands of questions, and an offline Android app.
Brain Grain Technologies takes that same stack to clients: AI automation, trading tools, websites and stores, web and mobile apps. We also build and sell our own products on public marketplaces. The studio is led by Amul R, who writes and checks the code on every project.
What we promise is how we work, not headcount: acceptance checks before code, a fixed price and date, honest numbers, and a handover you can run without us.

Four things we always do
Checks before code
We turn the agreed requirements into pass/fail checks before building. On our last Illustrator job, the checks caught six defects in one day, and none of them reached the client.
We look before we call it done
Every page is rendered at phone and desktop width. A missing card, an empty spec table and a contradicted warranty were all caught this way, and none of them raised an error.
Honest numbers
Backtests are reported per trade, never as a flattering total. When a strategy had no edge, we said so at delivery.
Fixed price, fixed date
Both agreed before we start. Half up front, half on handover. If we misjudged the effort, that is our cost.
